Note for Employees Under a Collective Bargaining Agreement
This website generally describes benefit plans available to eligible non-bargained L3Harris employees working in the continental United States and certain eligible L3Harris employees subject to a collective bargaining agreement (CBA). If you are subject to a CBA, please refer to your CBA to determine eligibility.

Medical and Pharmacy
You have a choice of three Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plans, each with pharmacy coverage through Capital Rx:
- Traditional Healthcare Plan (THP)
- High Deductible Healthcare Plan 1 (HDHP 1)
- High Deductible Healthcare Plan 2 (HDHP 2)
The three medical options all cover the same comprehensive list of medical services and supplies, use the same provider network and offer the choice to go out-of-network for care. However, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, copays/coinsurance and per-paycheck premiums differ by plan. (Note: Utah residents have a choice of networks.)
Virtual Care
If you’re enrolled in a Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan, you have 24/7 virtual access to board-certified doctors and therapists through Accolade Care, so you can take care of your health whenever and wherever you need. Connect with Accolade Care for a full range of physical and mental health support, including urgent medical conditions, primary care and chronic condition management.
Dental
You have a choice of three Cigna dental plans:
- Dental 1
- Dental 2
- DHMO
The three dental options all cover preventive dental care, basic restorative care and major restorative care. Dental 1 and 2 cover orthodontia for children under age 19 only, while the DHMO covers orthodontia for children and adults but utilizes a more restrictive provider network. Cost-sharing, benefit maximums and per-paycheck premiums differ by plan.
Vision
You have a choice of two MetLife vision plans:
- Vision 1
- Vision 2
The two plans work the same way and use the same expanded VSP network but have different time periods during which you can purchase frames, as well as different copays and allowances for glasses and contacts. Vision 2 also includes coverage for safety glasses.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
All employees and household members have free, confidential access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) partner, SupportLinc, for a wide range of mental health and well-being support and resources. In addition to 24/7 in-the-moment telephonic support from professional counselors, you’re eligible for up to six face-to-face or virtual sessions per clinical issue, per person, per calendar year. SupportLinc also offers a variety of self-guided digital tools and various work/life resources to boost your well-being and relieve stress.

Family-Building Support
When you enroll in an L3Harris-sponsored Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan, you have access to Kindbody for fertility and family-building benefits, including fertility assessments, IVF, IUI, cryopreservation, egg donor and surrogacy. Fertility benefits are only provided through the Kindbody network.
Menopause Support
When you enroll in an L3Harris-sponsored Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan, you have free access to specialized menopause support through Kindbody. Their board-certified Ob/Gyns are trained to support women with managing menopause, including symptom identification and management, hormone replacement therapy consultation, diet and lifestyle modifications, and access to nutritionists, therapists and coaches. Certain services (e.g., hormone replacement therapy prescriptions and lab tests) will be subject to standard medical plan cost-sharing requirements.
Virtual Physical Therapy and Pain Support
When you enroll in an L3Harris-sponsored Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan, you have app-based access to Hinge Health for physical therapy and pain relief services. Hinge Health’s licensed physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons and health coaches offer personalized digital support programs for muscle and joint pain and pelvic health concerns, at no cost to you.
Genetic Screening and Cancer Support
Genomic Life offers access to proactive genetic testing and can help turn your personal genetic insights into impactful customized clinical actions. If you’re diagnosed with cancer, Genomic Life provides personalized support and access to expert cancer navigation resources.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
The 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan is a powerful tool for saving for the future. As an eligible employee, you are automatically enrolled in the plan within 35 days following your hire date (or as soon as practicable afterwards). You can contribute between 1% and 70% of your eligible compensation, subject to legal limits, on a pre-tax, Roth after-tax, or voluntary after-tax basis. After one year of service, L3Harris will match a portion of what you save through the plan.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
The HSA offers a tax-free way to fund your out-of-pocket healthcare expenses, now or in the future. If you enroll in an HDHP medical plan and qualify to open an HSA under tax law, your contributions go into your HSA tax-free, grow tax-free, and are distributed tax-free for eligible healthcare-related expenses. L3Harris also will contribute funds to your HSA if you complete a designated HSA activity within the required time frame each year. The HSA is portable—your HSA is your personal account, and you can take it with you if you leave L3Harris.
Note: Some states consider HSA contributions and/or earnings taxable income; consult with your tax advisor for more information.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
The Health Care FSA allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare-related expenses. The Health Care FSA is not available to participants in the HDHP medical plans, and any funds left in your account after the claim deadline each year will be forfeited.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
The Dependent Care FSA allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible work-related dependent care expenses. Any funds left in your account after the claim deadline each year will be forfeited. (Please note this account cannot be used for dependents’ medical expenses; the Health Care FSA is intended for that purpose.)
Commuter Account
The Commuter account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible parking or mass transit expenses generated by going to and from work.
Deals and Discounts
As an L3Harris employee, you have access to national and local discounts from a wide selection of popular brands and vendors through our relationship with Corestream. Save money on things like computers, learning apps, child care, meal delivery and more, or find discounts at theme parks and other entertainment venues across the country, including Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Hersheypark.

Pre-Retirement Program
The L3Harris Pre-Retirement Program provides eligible employees the flexibility to transition into retirement through a gradual reduced work schedule.
Back-up Care
When your regular care plans fall through, L3Harris provides access to subsidized back-up child, adult and elder care through Bright Horizon’s nationwide network of child care centers and at-home caregivers:
- Center-based child care: $15 per day for one child, $25 per day for two or more children
- In-home child, adult or elder care: $6 per hour
Parenting Support
RethinkCare offers free support for parents and other caregivers through all stages of the parenting journey. Behavior experts are available for free telephone consultations to help answer your questions and provide guidance and resources, whether you’re managing screen time, dealing with tantrums, navigating learning and behavioral challenges, or so much more. RethinkCare also offers an extensive library of digital resources and easy-to-follow videos depicting behavior experts and educators teaching children language, socialization, self-help and other skills.
Adoption Assistance
Recognizing the substantial costs involved with adoption, L3Harris will help defray certain eligible adoption-related expenses, up to these maximums:
- Single child adoption: Up to $5,000
- Sibling group adoption: Up to a total of $7,500
There is a per-family lifetime maximum of $15,000.
Tutoring
L3Harris provides subsidized virtual and in-person tutoring for students ages 5–18 through Bright Horizons.
Education Advising and Reimbursement
For employees looking to pursue additional education, EdAssist academic and college finance advisors are available to discuss career-relevant program and school considerations. With approval, L3Harris also may provide financial assistance for eligible not-for-profit, regionally accredited college or university degree programs and credit-bearing certificate programs.
Future Innovators
Welcoming a child into your family is a joyous time filled with memories you will cherish forever. But it can also be a stressful time with challenges like sleepless nights, adjusting to a new routine and finding childcare. New and expectant parents employed by L3Harris can sign up to receive a complimentary Future Innovators gift box.
Life and Accident Insurance
You are automatically protected by the company-paid Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) plans, which pay a benefit if you die or are injured in a covered accident as an eligible L3Harris employee. If you want additional protection, you may elect to purchase Supplemental Life and AD&D coverage for yourself, your spouse/domestic partner and your children.
You can enroll at any time in the Enroll and Make Changes section on the enrollment site, subject to evidence of insurability (EOI) requirements.
If you are traveling for business purposes, Business Travel Accident insurance, which is administered by AIG, provides coverage for incidents such as emergency medical expenses and emergency medical evacuation.
Accident, Illness and Hospital Insurance
Accident Insurance
MetLife Accident Insurance pays for expenses related to accidental injury over and above other plans you may have and provides lump-sum payments for covered accident-related deaths or dismemberments.
Critical Illness Insurance
MetLife Critical Illness Insurance provides lump-sum payments in cases of covered critical illnesses (e.g., certain cancers, heart attacks, major organ transplants).
Hospital Indemnity Insurance
MetLife Hospital Indemnity Insurance provides lump-sum payments for covered hospitalizations.

Long-Term Care + Whole Life Insurance
L3Harris offers two benefits in one policy: permanent whole life insurance protection for you and your family and long-term care protection if you need extended healthcare services.

Legal Insurance
Purchase comprehensive legal coverage with the option to cover your parents.

Home and Auto Insurance
The Home and Auto Insurance Plans, available through several insurers, provide access to personal policies covering your vehicles in most states and property and liability insurance options to your home, whether owned or leased in most states.

Identity Theft Insurance

Pet Protection
Veterinary Pet Insurance
The plan pays expenses through ASPCA and Nationwide to treat a covered ill or injured pet as per policy provisions and provides discounted services at network vets through Pet Assure.
Pet Prescriptions and Supplies
PetPlus offers members-only pricing on your pet’s prescriptions, food, treats, toys and more.
